Adele the Dog needs a home
SAY HELLO TO ADELE
Adele is an amazing 15 month old girl who had a very rough start to her young life. She was subjected to a shock collar from age 8 weeks to about 5 months. Often left outside on a run, the cable got wrapped around her bottom jaw and cut her tongue. During this time she was physically abused by the "man" of the house. It's fortunate that she was removed from the home and surrendered to Doberman Underground.
Adele has left her past behind and is truly a little love bug who will jump up in the chair to snuggle with her humans. She's a very healthy and the daily dose of Prozac she receives is doing very well to alleviate her anxiety.
Adele is completely house trained. While she doesn't love the crate, her foster home is working on that. She's happy laying in the crate with a kong toy...as long as it's frozen and filled with peanut butter. She is an experienced counter surfer and if you leave food alone she will snatch it right up. She's a good girl and very smart - she will do very well with guidance and training.
Adele is a typical youngster with a lot of energy. She'll be a great companion to keep up with an active person or family. She loves to play with any and all dogs. A fenced yard is needed so she can run and play safely. While she does like her tiny chihuahua foster siblings, she lacks awareness of the disparity in size and tends to play a little bit rough with them. Adele has discovered that she can make them squeak if she touches them just the right way and she has mastered that skill! Fortunately, they don't seem to mind and can't get enough of play time together. A cat-free house would be best given her energetic playfulness, but once she matures and settles she will likely be fine with cats. Same goes for small children!

Doberman Underground is a Volunteer based rescue. We do not have a facility, our dogs are fostered in loving homes in Ohio and surrounding states. Fostering allows us to better know the dog and match them to the perfect family.
